I wasn’t happy with yesterday’s image in the end. I should have just stuck with the straight shot of the skater. You live and learn.
Anyway, I like this image because it was a moment I just about managed to capture. It’s not a great picture. The largest bird is out of focus which is disappointing, but with the bright sky and the fast movement I was pleased to be able to select the right settings so quickly.
