This is The Scallop by Maggi Hambling. It sits on the beach in Aldeburgh on the east coast of Suffolk.
I was lying all over the stones trying to spot odd angles, but settled on this straight on shot that everyone must take. Somebody else’s art and best left alone. My son and I spent hours just sitting on and around it enjoying the sun.
