Colour Frame

I had the opportunity the other day to talk to someone at length about my photography. Usually I’m presented with glazed over eyes after about five minutes so this was a refreshing change. The person in question had a motive behind it all and was happy for me to natter away.

Our discussions headed towards why I got interested in photography and it really got me thinking about why I chose to pursue it. I wont bore you with the details, suffice to say that it made me scour over my archives and I came across this image. It was taken some time ago on my first prosumer digital camera and I think at this point I’d decided that I was going to try and draw on my creative side. Something I don’t often get to do in my day job.

Recently, with the arrival of our baby daughter and my new job I’ve had little time to get out with the camera. I’m starting to get the itch again and this image depicts exactly what I need to do…

Focus and frame the colour.
