Today I finally plucked up the courage to ask someone if I could take their picture and here’s the result.
I saw this very proud looking chap strolling along Old Bond Street and asked “May I take your picture?” and with a quick straighten of his pipe and a puff of his chest he said “Yes. You may take my picture”. I took two quick shots, said my thank yous and strolled off. I walked away feeling pleased and touched by the fact that he’d let me take his picture without question. Only then did I start to regret not asking his name or talking to him. Maybe next time.
