The Virgin Mother #1

This sculpture is called “The Virgin Mother” by Damien Hirst. It’s in the courtyard at The Royal Academy of Arts. The bronze statue reveals the woman’s skull, muscles, tissue and unborn child. It’s fascinating, slightly disturbing, but truly wonderful. I love it.
