Dynamic London

The weather has been dull and very cold – not great for photography so here’s one from the archives.

Another HDR, although this time you can clearly see it is. Three exposures at -1, -0.5 and 0 from a single RAW, all pulled into Photomatix and Tone mapped until it looked how I wanted. Then off into Photoshop where I added a Selective Colour layer to remove some of the harsher colours, added a duplicate Overlay layer with a Gaussian blur and reduced the opacity to soften the whole image a little, then dodged across the bridge and burned in some of the cloud.

If the sky in London did actually start to look like this, I think I’d head for the hills.
