Having very little else to post recently I thought I’d change the aging Ferrari image to another Ferrari image, but with a little more colour this time. This is also the same car as in this image.
Staying on the car theme, this was taken at the weekend when I was lucky enough to go on a Scudrunners trip down to Cliveden. There must have been nearly 60 Ferraris and Lamborghinis leaving Hyde Park at about 9.30am … Continue reading
This was taken during my week in Austin, Texas. The classic Citroen was parked in the same place, every day, with the wheels slightly turned. Apparently it did work.
This was taken at the Austin City Art last month whilst I did a ten mile walk around the city. Here’s the artist’s stone2furniture.com/.
I’ve spent the last week working in Austin, Texas. Tomorrow I’m going to spend some more time just walking around the city with a camera and soaking it up. This week I’ve mostly been in an air conditioned office or … Continue reading
Just a shot I took a few weeks ago whilst walking along Great Eastern Street. Had to post something to get rid of the damn Fish!
This was taken today at the Horniman Museum Aquarium. A friend pointed out that they have one clownfish and one regal blue tang in the tank. Nice touch. I did get a shot where the clownfish was a little more … Continue reading
It hasn’t stopped raining here for the last two days. It’s getting a little boring. Having not had the chance to get with the camera recently I had to trawl through the archives to get rid of Santa. This jumped … Continue reading
It’s that time of the year again. That time when, however hard you try, you just can’t avoid this man. This was taken at Selfridges from one of their many Santa window displays. If you never saw the last post … Continue reading
This was taken a few weekends ago, the same day I took this one. I was playing around with over-exposing shots as the sky was already filled with bright white clouds and beyond saving.
These shots were taken at The Horniman Museum. It’s an amazing little museum founded in 1901 by Frederick John Horniman. If you get the chance to visit you really should.
I had a pretty successful day with the camera today. Sometimes it helps just to let go and and try not to get caught up with what the end result might be.
Need I say anymore? 🙂
This was taken whilst strolling around Pollenca, Mallorca whilst on holiday a month ago. I was so glad I stopped at door to this garage and had a peak inside. If you’re interested in the title you can Google “Eskorbuto” … Continue reading
Taken at a friend’s house a few weekends ago. I loved the deep red of this van against the grain of the ageing wood.
This was taken on the same walk, around the fields and forests in Edwardstone, as the previous post. I think I could have spent all day strolling around taking photographs. I felt the spark of inspiration again.
Just spent a lovely weekend in Edwardstone visiting some friends. This was taken on Sunday morning whilst walking their dog. We had flasks of tea, empty fields and a cooked breakfast to return to.
Here’s another shot from the holiday last week. This was taken while I was strolling around Pollenca, Mallorca. A bit of a photographic cliché, but I like it.
I’ve just spent the last week in Port de Pollenca, Mallorca with all of the family. All eleven of us! Most of the shots I took were of the kids and the rest of the family. This one is of … Continue reading
This is the Loggia Fountain, based on the Trevi in Rome, taken at Hever Castle over the weekend. There is so much there that is camera worthy, but you really have to go when there are less people or always … Continue reading
Spotted this poor fella at the side of the road when I’d stopped to take landscape shot in a field. Not so beautiful as the last shot I posted.
Just a shot taken whilst on a walk a few weekends ago.
This is the last shot I’m going to post from the Battersea Power Station trip. This was taken quickly as we were leaving. Fingers crossed they do something with the station and not let it fall to the ground.
