Face to Face

This exhibition is at the Natural History Museum until the 18th of September and you have to go. You weren’t actually allowed to take photographs, but with the camera sat on one of the seats I fired off a few long exposure shots. The portraits of the apes are just like portraits of humans, unique and expressive. A brilliant exhibition and worth the visit alone. Their new animatronic T-Rex is pretty cool as well.

Update: For regular commenters, I’ve changed the auto-email that you get when you make a comment. So if you have commented before you wont keep getting it.

  1. Gosh, this is a really striking and unusual image; I get a sense of forboding from the intense darkness and richly contrasting faces, and the perspective is great. Oddly enough, I assumed it was a display at the NHM though I’ve certainly not seen this exhibition. Nicely sneaked.
